この「花魁」シリーズは、架空の遊郭を舞台に、架空の画家が描いた「美人画」というコンセプトから着想を得ています。
このシリーズのテーマは、想像の世界にのみ存在する世界で、それぞれが独自の物語を抱えながら、力強さと優雅さ、そして鮮やかな個性を放って生きる花魁や遊女たちです。

5月の展示のテーマが花や生き物なので
それに合わせて描きました。
それに、なんとなく初夏っぽく。
