“Dragon and Hawk”
HORIGEN × bAbycAt Collaborative artworks.
This artwork is a collaboration with the legendary tattoo artist, 初代彫元（HORIGEN）. The koi tattoo on Koisato Oiran’s back was originally hand-drawn by HORIGEN. His traditional tattoo artwork was then fused with my digital artwork, creating a unique collaboration between hand-drawn tattoo art and contemporary digital illustration.
This girl was given a dragon tribal tattoo, adding a powerful symbol of strength and protection to her design.
※In Japanese and East Asian art, the dragon is a symbol of strength, wisdom, protection, and transformation. Unlike the dragons of Western mythology, the Eastern dragon is often seen as a divine being connected to nature, water, and the power of life. It represents the energy to overcome challenges, embrace change, and rise toward a greater destiny.
Long ago, a hawk quietly stood beside her shoulder. Its name was Hakushun.
She was the female leader of a clan known as the Fire Warriors, and Hakushun remained by her side as if it were the reincarnation of an ancient soul.
The dragon upon her back could sometimes unleash its fierce power, but until their destined role was fulfilled, the dragon, carrying the ancient power that connects heaven and earth, and the hawk, carrying the warrior’s pride of the clan, remained as one.
Together, they shared a bond beyond words, becoming the guardians who watched over her and the fate of her people.

はるか昔。彼女の肩に静かに寄り添う鷹は名を白隼（Hakushun）といった。彼女は火の戦闘民族と呼ばれる一族の女長であり白隼は何かの生まれ変わりのように常に彼女の側にいた。背中の龍は時に荒ぶることもあるが「天と大地を繋ぐ、古の力を宿す魂」の龍と「一族の誇りを背負う戦士の魂」の鷹はその役目を終えるまで一心同体であった。
初代彫元さんとのコラボ作品 第一弾。
この女の子は龍のトライバルを入れてもらいました。
トライバルの原画はアナログであり、私のイラストはデジタルなので
下描きの段階から試行錯誤しまくりでした。
無事に完成できて良かった！カッコイイ！
