On a weekend night,
stepping into the city fills me with excitement.
I wonder if something unexpected might happen,
and my heart begins to race.
The noise and energy of the city
keep me from feeling alone.
The traffic lights change restlessly,
and every time they do,
crowds of people begin to move all at once.
Music spills out onto the streets,
and the latest displays in shop windows
catch my eyes and entertain me.
Where is everyone going?
The people rushing by look so radiant,
yet somehow, they feel so far away from me.
Suddenly,
I remember that I am walking alone.
I still haven’t found
what I’m looking for.
週末の夜、街に出るとワクワクする。
何か起こるんじゃないかって、ドキドキする。
街の喧騒は私を孤独にしない。
忙しなく信号が変わり
そのたびに人が一斉に流れていく。
ストリートには音楽が溢れ
ショーウィンドウは最先端のディスプレイで
私の目を楽しませてくれる。
みんなどこへ行くのだろう？
急ぎ足の人たちはキラキラして
私とは関係なく思えてくる。
突如、私は一人で歩いてるってことを思い出す。
私はまだ欲しいものに出会えていない。
